THE MOUNT GROUP operates one of the oldest argillite quarries in the Mid-Atlantic region.

First developed on an industrial scale in 1924, THE MOUNT GROUP purchased the Harleysville quarry in 2010.
Since then, we have built it into a state-of-the-art facility capable of producing a complete line of high-quality aggregates and red stone for commercial and decorative use.

THE MOUNT GROUP is committed to preserving our environment and conserving natural resources. By recycling construction materials, we reduce the disposal of usable products into landfills, where space is limited. Our recycling facilities operate under Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) guidelines.
