The project involves the placement of a toed-in, stone revetment at the mouth of the Maurice River and the Delaware Bay. It also involves the construction of two hybrid breakwaters at the Basket Flats of the river to trap sediment and filter the brackish water. The project involves placing over 23,000 tons of large core stone and 9,000 square yards of stone filled mattresses.

Challenge: Site can only be accessed via water. Shallow waters at the stone placement zone.

Solution: Mount Construction specialty marine equipment and years of experience being utilized to overcome the shallow water access at site.
